Join Us for Monthly Family Prayer Walks! 🚶♂️🙏
Lakeland Family Church is stepping out into our community! Starting this July, we are hosting a monthly Prayer Walk on the Third Saturday of every month to pray directly over our city’s neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and families.
Each walk kicks off promptly at 8:00 AM to beat the summer heat. We will walk a scenic 1-mile route together, focusing on specific prayer prompts, and then loop back along a completely different path to return right where we started (approx. 2 miles total). Bring the kids, strollers, and a water bottle! Check out our upcoming schedule below and join us as we cover Lakeland in prayer.
September 26th

- Meeting Spot: Crystal Lake Middle School Parking Lot (2410 N Crystal Lake Dr, Lakeland, FL 33801)
- Focus Prompt: Pray for local middle school students, teachers, administrators, and the families living in the surrounding Crystal Lake neighborhood. Ask for protection, guidance, emotional resilience, and strong community support for students during these key formative years.
October 17th

- Focus Prompt: Pray for Lakeland’s children, local schools, and households navigating special needs. Ask that the church grows in its capacity to serve and support these families.
November 21st
- Scott Lake / Southwest Highlands Area

- Focus Prompt: Pray for our primary school educators, support staff, and elementary-aged children. Ask for safety over our local school campuses, patience for teachers, and that the homes in this growing south-Lakeland pocket are anchored in peace and strong family values.
December 19th

- Focus Prompt: Pray specifically for middle school students, who are navigating critical developmental and social years. Ask that the church can effectively support local youth ministries, and pray for strong emotional resilience, healthy peer relationships, and positive role models for the city's teenagers.
