Prayer Walk - Monthly

Join Us for Monthly Family Prayer Walks! 🚶‍♂️🙏

‍Lakeland Family Church is stepping out into our community! Starting this July, we are hosting a monthly Prayer Walk on the Third Saturday of every month to pray directly over our city’s neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and families.

Each walk kicks off promptly at 8:00 AM to beat the summer heat. We will walk a scenic 1-mile route together, focusing on specific prayer prompts, and then loop back along a completely different path to return right where we started (approx. 2 miles total). Bring the kids, strollers, and a water bottle! Check out our upcoming schedule below and join us as we cover Lakeland in prayer.

July 18th‍

  • Focus Prompt: Pray for local families in historic residential pockets, the enrichment of local culture, and that the community experiences spiritual renewal.

  • Focus Prompt: Pray specifically for college students, educators, and campus ministries as a new school year prepares to launch. Ask for guidance, strong mentorship, and that young adults find solid faith communities.‍

  • Focus Prompt: Pray for local business owners, daily retail and food service workers, and economic stability. Ask that the marketplace be filled with integrity and positive interactions.

  • Focus Prompt: Pray for our primary school educators, support staff, and elementary-aged children. Ask for safety over our local school campuses, patience for teachers, and that the homes in this growing south-Lakeland pocket are anchored in peace and strong family values.
