Where everyone is family
These values are our DNA. They drive what we do and how we use our resources.
We experience radical transformation through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We delight in seeing people thrive in the abundant life promised by Jesus.
We actively care for each other through life's ups and downs.
We put our faith into action by reaching out to the world around us.
We do more than just attend…we serve.
We have fun together, challenge one another, and celebrate both personal and collective transformation.
Jesus said, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”
What We Believe
Lakeland Family Church is a Bible-believing congregation. These are beliefs which we hold to be true and are common to Christians world-wide.
We believe in one God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures are inspired by God, and contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to do evil.
We believe that those who fail to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior are lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whoever repents and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to salvation, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
Lakeland Family Church is a part of the Church of the Nazarene (CON). The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the Church is now home to more than 2 million members worshiping in over 26,000 local congregations in 159 world areas.
